Privacy policy

This page explains what happens to your data when you visit systemique.co — what's collected, why, by whom, and what you can do about it. Last updated 2026-08-24.

Who's responsible

The data controller for this site is:
Victoria Chen-Englert
Niedernhausener Straße 49
60326 Frankfurt am Main, Germany
victoria@systemique.co · +49 152 25364865

Full legal details are in the Impressum.

Hosting

This site is hosted by Hostinger on server infrastructure in Frankfurt, Germany. Hosting backups are stored in France. Hostinger processes technical connection and access-log data—including IP address, timestamp, requested resource, referrer, and browser information—to deliver the site and keep the service secure and reliable. Hostinger acts as a processor under its Data Processing Addendum. This processing is necessary for the legitimate interest of securely operating the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Privacy choice and Google Analytics

This site stores your analytics choice—accepted or declined—in your browser's local storage under the key cookie-consent. Remembering the choice prevents the banner from appearing on every page and is treated as necessary for providing the privacy setting you selected. It contains only the word granted or denied and is not sent to Systemique.

Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, is used to understand page views, referral sources, approximate location, and browser and device categories. Google Analytics is not downloaded and sends no measurement request unless you click “Accept analytics.” Advertising storage, Google signals, and advertising-personalisation signals are disabled in the site configuration.

If you accept, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies including _ga and _ga_<container-id>, whose default lifetime is up to two years, to distinguish users and preserve session state. Analytics data may be processed by Google group companies and service providers outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. See Google's privacy policy for further information.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using “Privacy settings” in the footer of every page. Choosing “Decline” disables further Analytics collection for the current page and removes the Google Analytics cookies accessible to this site. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Legal basis: your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. No analytics processing takes place if you decline.

Contact form

The contact form is processed by Web3Forms, a service of Web3Creative in India. Web3Forms processes each submission on servers in the United States and forwards it to Victoria by email. According to Web3Forms, it does not store form submissions; technical server logs may contain personal information and are periodically deleted, currently every two months. This can involve processing outside the EU/EEA. Web3Forms provides a Data Processing Agreement.

What's submitted: name, email, and whatever else you fill in (company, role, team size, the kind of support you're considering, and your free-text answers). This is used only to read and respond to your enquiry.

Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Newsletter

The newsletter signup is provided by Substack, a US service. The Substack form is not loaded automatically: no connection to Substack is made until you click “Load signup form.” When you do, your browser loads a Substack iframe, which discloses connection data such as your IP address and browser information to Substack and may allow Substack to use its own storage technologies. If you then subscribe, your email address goes directly to Substack, which handles the subscription, newsletter delivery, and unsubscribing under Substack's privacy policy. Loading the form is optional; you can instead visit the newsletter directly from the footer link.

WhatsApp and booking a call

The "Message me on WhatsApp" link opens a chat via WhatsApp, operated by Meta — anything you send there is handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy. The "Book a video call" link opens Calendly, a US-based scheduling service, governed by Calendly's own privacy policy. Both are separate services you're choosing to open; nothing from either is sent back to or stored by Systemique.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, ask us to restrict or object to processing, request a portable copy of what you gave us, and withdraw consent at any time (which doesn't affect processing already done before you withdrew it). To do any of this, just email victoria@systemique.co.

You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for this business, that's Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (HBDI), though you're free to contact the data protection authority in your own country instead.
